Privacy policy

What this site collects, why, how long it is kept and what you can ask us to do about it. Short, because the site does very little.

Who is responsible

mushhead operates this site and decides what happens to the data described below. For anything on this page, write to [email protected] and a person will answer.

The contact form

Sending the form transmits the name, email address and message you typed. They are delivered to us as email through Brevo, which acts as our processor, and are not used for anything except replying to you. We do not sell them, share them with advertisers, or add them to a mailing list.

A message is kept as long as the conversation is useful, and deleted on request. The form also carries a hidden field that only automated submissions fill in; if it is filled, the message is dropped and nothing is stored.

To stop abuse, the endpoint counts submissions per IP address for one hour. The count is a number against a hashed address with no message content attached, and it expires with the window.

Measurement

If and when this site runs analytics, it will do so only after you have said yes, and what it stores is described on the cookie policy page. Nothing about you is sent to an advertising product, and consent can be withdrawn at any time from that page.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask for a copy, or object to it being processed at all. Write to [email protected]. If you are in the EU or the UK and think we have handled it badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

This page is a plain-language description rather than legal advice, and it is reviewed whenever the site changes what it does.
